To give you an idea of a foot reflexology experience, please see below.....

When we first meet, I shall explain what a reflexology consultation involves.  Once you are relaxed and comfortable in the special reflexology chair, (a portable recliner chair which  reclines gently), I shall ask you about your medical history, so that I can have an idea of your lifestyle, health problems etc, so that we can work out a programme together, and it will help me to know which reflexes to concentrate on.

The second part of the consultation will involve me warming up your feet, by putting a light but firm pressure on your feet, and by rubbing them to stimulate all your reflexes, so that you can decide what level of pressure you would like me to work on your feet.  Don't worry, it won't tickle!

The next part of the consultation is when I start the full reflexology treatment, stimulating the nerves, organs and systems in your body.  You can have this reflexology treatment with or without relaxation music, and you can chat through it, or stay silent as you wish.

The final part of your treatment will involve Reiki to your feet, just to help your system relax back down after stimulation.

When you are relaxing after your consultation, we will discuss how you feel, and how we will prepare a treatment plan for you in order for you to benefit fully from your reflexology, should you wish another treatment.

The first treatment can last for about 2 hours, by the time we have discussed your medical history and taken our time over your treatment.

One of the most important things to remember after a reflexology treatment is to drink plenty of water, as this will help to flush out any toxins which are in your body.
