PILATES

 

Pilates is a complete exercise method developed by its founder Joseph Pilates over the course of a lifetime dedicated to improving physical ad mental health. Initially adapted by professional dancers in the US as an effective form of recovery after injury. Pilates has steadily grown in popularity around the world.

 

Pilates focuses on building your body's core strength (back & shoulder girdle, abdominal & pelvic muscles) and improving your posture through a series of repetitive low impact stretching and conditioning exercises. It corrects muscular imbalance and restores good alignment.

 

 

AMANDA JANE WOOD FROM HOLMFIRTH PILATES will be teaching a couple of day and evening classes at Cocoon. 1 Hour classes.

 

Mondays 10am

Tuesdays 9:30am 

Thursdays 6:15pm
